Valiant Canadian Reconnaissance Platoon

My Canadian Armoured/Recognizance Platoon. I like to base them off the the 29th Canadian Armoured Reconnaissance Regiment, or the South Alberta Regiment.

Many members of the South Alberta Regiment carried a radio if they were assigned to a ground role. There were also many Machine Gunners.

Also, there were many ground troops supporting the tanks and doing recognizance.

A mortar crew also took out the targets that the recognizance teams reported.

My favourite one.

Coming Soon...

I picked these figures up on eBay for 10.99 recently. I love them so far. I plan to put them on once I get the paints and superglue (they require construction).

Very very detailed.

Unknown Gulf War infantry

I have no idea who manufactured these figures, I basically just picked them up at a local hobby shop for 99 cents a bit. They weren't painted, so I painted them to look like soldiers from the Gulf War.

A guy with an Uzi. I like this one the most.

"Eat fire Sadam!"

Radio man. "Hello, there? Is anyone there? Hello..."

Revell "Stray" British Infantry

I found some Revell Germany figures just laying around, so I gave them some rehab and gave them publicity. I'm just fooling around with their painted uniforms a bit, and I haven't decided whether to paint future sets a dark-green or a olive-khaki-ish colour.

"Fire in the hole!"

The pattern on the front of his rifle is a little rigid where I painted it. Cruddy :/

A Sten gunner.

"Charge!!!!!"
